Class 1 enjoyed mapping our school environment today . We are learning about our locality - starting with our school. Well done for great observational skills today everyone!
"Our topic this term is Ship Ahoy! We will be learning all about pirates, from their jobs to what they ate and how they caught treasure! We will also be looking at the famous Barti Du or Black Bart - the Welsh pirate!"
"Deep sea divin' / Ship ahoy!"
"We had a Microsoft Teams meeting with a local marine biologist, who talked about her job and the different sea life that live in the ocean in our local area. It was very interesting! We read Tedi Twt ar Lan y Mor, then we used Jit5 to draw and describe his outift.
We wanted to create our own fish in the creative area and we looked at information books to find out about our favourite sea animal.
We measured how many cubes heavy the different sea creatures were using the scales in the numeracy area"

Summer Term 2021
Our topic this term is "Deep sea divin' / Ship ahoy!"
We wanted to learn about all the different animals that live in the ocean. We will be looking at their habitats around the world and here in Wales.
We will also be looking at our impact on the environment and how we can look after it.
Our topic this term is
"The skies above our eyes"
During this topic, we will be learning all about the planets and famous astronauts and their jobs. We will be looking at our world and the way we live in our "cynefin" in Wales.

The Great Outdoors!!
Our artist this term - Wassily Kandinsky
We found out what colours mix together to make new ones! Then looked at Wassily Kandinsky's work and created our own "Circles in Squares" picture. After that, we made a Class picture of his famous "Circles in Squares" picture using Jit5 draw.
World Mental Health Day
We wore smiles and something yellow for World Mental Health Day.
