Outdoor Learning Week April 2021
Nursery having fun exploring outside!
Reception enjoyed measuring using giant footprints
"Class 1 have had so much fun making bird feeders as part of our Eco-schools challenge and Outdoor learning week! Hopefully we will see more birds soon!"
Class 2 had so much fun making their ‘tricky words’ out of natural materials.
Class 3 worked hard adding two and three digit numbers.
Class 4 have been using nature as a stimulus for sketching and have produced some lovely artwork.
Class 5 were busy and making the most of the dry weather, to move 4 tonne of soil for the raised vegetable borders!
Class 6 used Outdoor Learning Week to consolidate their classwork by measuring their standing long jump distances and converting from cm to metres and kilometres. We also used string to help us measure the circumference of circles, after we had measured the radius and diameter.
Anti-bullying week - We have all enjoyed wearing odd socks to school to celebrate our differences and what makes us all unique.
